New Hardwood Floor Installation

Hardwood Floor Installation

Hardwood floors work anywhere in the home. In areas where they may see water and spills, regular maintenance will keep them looking like new for years. Hardwood floors can be installed above or below grade, on concrete slabs, over plywood sub floors, or over existing wood floors. RiverCity Flooring provides both pre-finished and unfinished hardwoods to meet your needs. Pre-Finished hardwoods can be installed and ready to walk on in just a day or two. Unfinished hardwood floors are sanded on the job and can be customized with borders and medallions.

Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Hardwood floors are very resilient and maintain a rich appearance for years. Over the years the finish will wear off and becomes scratched and worn. Because hardwood flooring is a permanent floor, they can be brought back to life by refinishing. When refinishing your hardwood floors, you’re able to change the color and shine to your desire. This process will take several days to complete. It is very important to have your floors professionally refinished using a dust free system.

Dust Free Sanding

The Atomic DCS Dust Collection System

Dust Free Sanding

Airborne wood dust, a known carcinogen, is a jobsite hazard that is completely unneccesary.

Bona pioneered dust containment for the hardwood floor finishing industry in 1995 and have continued to develop innovative solutions such as the trailer-mounted Atomic DCS®

With Bona's dust containment systems, there's no airborne dust generated to permeate a home or business. It's a healthier environment to work in every day and cleans up what used to be an extremely dusty process.

Utilizing powerful vacuum systems attached to all sanding equipment results in:

  • Increased customer satisfaction - virtually eliminates the nightmare of dust throughout the home or business.
  • Higher quality results - by eliminating airborne dust that would otherwise settle back down into the finish.
  • Healthier working conditions and indoor air quality - wood dust is a known carcinogen.
  • No time consuming plastic to hang
  • No costly clean-up
